OK - so this time I'm *really* back

Kinda forgot that I'd started blogging again last year about the upcoming event I had on the radar which was the south Coast Mighty hike. Sadly due to a pending thunderstorm the organisers called it off a couple of days before and I couldn't make the rearranged date. Since then I've been pretty much a lazy lazy man. Because who doesn't love sitting on the sofa eating penny sweets and binge watching NetAzonAppleFlix box sets? In my defence though I have been trying to take care of myself a little better, dropped a few pounds, stopped eating quite so many late night kebabs [not entirely - but a fair few less ] but overall relatively healthy ish kinda. I quite like cycling. I mean it's exercise sitting down! Win-Win-Win - and I've had the "London to Brighton" cycle ride on my list for a while. Probably about a dozen years ago I had signed up for it but just a couple of weeks before picked up a back injury which meant I wasn't able to take part (and at that time I was a proper fat lad anyway so it was probably for the best tbh) so now a few years older, a few pounds lighter, and with a massive feeling of guilt for not having done anything for charity in a fair old while, its high time to get on the bike, get peddling, whack on the lairy lycra, annoy the shite out of friends and family, and keep begging for every single dollar, pound, euro, dong, zloty and shilling. I double promise to remember I have this page and keep it updated. I treble promise to post ridiculous pictures in lairy gear of all descriptions. I quadruple promise to also include photos (probably sweaty red faced ones) , videos which almost certainly will include bad singing (and probably sweaty re face again ) and regular updates about how much I hate actual physical exercise but how I've bullied myself into the mindset of raising as much money for charity I possibly can do. Which at the end of the day is kind of the point of this whole exercise (or exercise in exercise more accurately) Stay tuned folks for silliness, sweatiness, solicitations for cash money and general Chubby Chap challenge shenanigans. Oh yeah - and if you wanna drop a few pence, here's the link! Matthew Shooman is fundraising for British Heart Foundation Muchos besos. xx
